My innovis ve 2200 is not working.
I took it to sun sew vacuum in Virginia, and was told he doesnt know what is wrong and that I have to mail it to Brother because he is not an authorized Brother repair rep. I live in Maryland and took it to the only 3 Maryland Brother authorized dealers and they told me they dont repair Brother embroidery machines.
My machine had one year of use when I moved from Texas to Maryland. Unfortunately, the machine broke in Maryland after very little use. It was very frustrating not finding a place to take it to. I decided to take it out of state and now I am being told I have to mail it to Brother.
I dont even know what is wrong with it. The rep told me if I send it to you that you are the only ones that can fix it. Please contact me and let me know what my options are.
I paid $3,000 for this machine, used it very little and now I feel like Im being burned by it. I feel like I bought a hunk of junk.
Preferred solution: I would like to get my machine fixed.

I don't recall when I bought this P-Touch Home & Hobby III/PT-85, but I have had it for at least 20 years, and more likely closer to 25 years. It still works as well as the day I bought it, and I just had to let your company know.
Now days technology moves so fast, resulting in obsolescence, that requires upgrades every few years, and products that are not intended (and often times not cost effective) to repair, but be thrown away and replaced, this little machine defies all of that.
It contains electronics and mechanical components that I figured would surely have failed by now, but it just keeps going, and possibly for another 20 years. I bought this label maker for work, and it has bounced around in a service truck all of this time, gone through countless batteries and tape cartridges, and it's so filthy that many of the keys are illegible, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Thank you for an amazing product, and please do not stop making the M Tape cartridges, as I plan to use this thing until it dies.

Verified ReviewerFind Another Printer
tNothing but problems since the AIO purchase in October 2023. Regardless that multiple (daily) attempts to Register (a not-inexpensive, AIO) machine, have been unsuccessful.
Provided app options, like Morpia print, do not doesn't recognize this machine. There is no availability to take advantage of the *highly marketed*, Ink Replacement Program. Promises marketed at pre-sale are not available after delivery. The AIO machine, itself, purchased in Oct.
2023, is flimsy, noisy and moves around during printing. Onboard Screen/View placement thats required to operate the machine is absurdly low, so small that it's impossible to read without a flashlight. Wifi? Yes, regardless that the printer doesn't recognize that its functionality has operated by connection to WIFI for 4 months.
Constant issues with stalling mid-print requires the user to stay close, aka, "babysitting". The Brother.com Website is non-functional. Site functionality is useful only for researching and purchase of new equipment. With a non-functional website, customers must have unlimited time availability for self-tweak of the machine.

Verified Reviewer"Unreliable Toner Management: A Candid Review of the Brother MFC-L3770CDW Printer"
As a longstanding user of Brother printers, our experience with the MFC-L3770CDW model has been revealing. Despite its commendable printing quality, the printer's functionality falls short in crucial aspects.
The printer's reliance on a counter to determine toner levels has proven to be inaccurate and disruptive. When the printer indicates a cartridge is empty, it halts all printing operations, regardless of whether the cartridge is truly depleted. This flaw has led to considerable frustration and financial waste, as cartridges are prematurely discarded based on erroneous readings. Despite investing in new cartridges or resorting to various troubleshooting methods, the issue persists, making continued use of the printer economically unviable.
At an approximate cost of $108-$109 per cartridge, the recurrent expense of replacing seemingly usable toner cartridges outweighs the benefits of the printer's performance. Regrettably, this experience has led to the decision not to invest in another Brother printer.
The printer's inability to accurately gauge toner levels has resulted in unnecessary expenditure and operational disruptions, highlighting a critical flaw in its design. Therefore, we cannot recommend the MFC-L3770CDW model to others seeking reliable and cost-effective printing solutions.
- Printing performance is acceptable
- False toner use tracking
Preferred solution: To either replace toners or to correct the counters as a reference of the toner's use - I have thrown away hundreds of dollars in toner cartridges
User's recommendation: Do not purchase Brother - I believe all toner cartridge printers has a count and Those counters are not reliable

Verified ReviewerBad customer service.
Yes, they did get me on the proper plan. And they finally got it registered, but they did not give me any kind of discount yet on the purchase of the printer as they said they would.
No resolution at this time.
I have one already with no Issues
I go to register the printer. No Issue then Try to register for the refresh program. That's where you get ink every month. Based on the amount of paper, you use my other brother printer.
No issues with the service. Just brand new printer would not let me register with that service. Call customer service finally got through to somebody. As far *** I know nobody speaks any English.
Told me to uninstall online services and reinstall online services. Which I did nothing work. I've got about 8 hours tied up into the thing. So far, I got a number to call brother refresh services.
185* *** **** Finally you got to a supervisor which told me after he tried, so we're going to go ahead, and we're going to upgrade. You're printer Amor going to take some money off. The one you paid since you bought it directly from brother. For the inconvenience I cannot for the life of me.
Spell or name the supervisor some country. No US support even though the company is in New Jersey. With no phone number or no access to them. I'm very disappointed with this company.
Since the supervisor told me what he was going to do. Nobody has calming, he told me somebody would call me with a 20 to 48 hours, nobody. Call back and I get the same run around. I will never, ever, ever buy another product from brother.
This is terrible, terrible customer service. And this is the only way I can express my opinion on. I'm one of the sights because there's nobody to talk to. And there's nobody to help they have a nice website.
They, they want you to buy their products. All that, but there's not English-speaking person. And then the communication barrier is terrible. Maybe somebody from brother or read this in.
Contact me that would be nice because time is money.
And I've got too much time in this so I'm done I will leave my phone number.313 531 **** Oh, yeah, just to say this, this is my opinion. This is my situation based on what happened to me, nobody else at this time.
- Make a good piece of equipment
- Terrible customer service
User's recommendation: If you don't wanna headache and you don't wanna deal with customer service. Look for another company, buy a different product.

Verified Reviewer |Brother Sewing Machine
Brother sewing Machine: Product Code: 888-V58/V59/V68/V69
This sewing machine, with auto threader, causes me so much stress and frustration. The auto threading is most often a hit and miss.
The thread going into part 3-4, where it loops around and then gets taken up by the thread take up lever is does NOT always work. The system used to sew through a thicker flannel garment is does NOT work. I am totally dissatisfied with the sewing machine. The West Island Brother sewing company contact number is non functional.
There has been NO agent ready to answer the calls. I have attempted to reach the Brother sewing machine company located on the West Islands few months after purchasing my Brother sewing machine.
Ii is NOT a reliable machine and each project takes me double the time. My first sewing machine was a zig zag Singer.
I graduated to a Kenmore and it served me for close to 25 years.Kenmore sewing machine is an awesome.
I am asking for a full refund...especially with the Christmas season upon us. My Christmas gift giving will be far far behind schedule.
User's recommendation: Stay away from this sewing machine

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Received scan & cut with curled mat
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. Finally received a replacement mat.
The original mat was curled and would not work in the scan n cut. After talking with customer service - who refused to issue a new mat - I made a negative post on social media. I was contacted by someone at Brother. It took several email conversations before they agreed to issue a new mat.
I'm sure it cost the company more money than the cost of the mat. Regardless, I cannot and will not recommend Brother.
This was a gift & I'm not gonna contact the gift giver and ask for receipt. I told them I could send pictures of box and mat, but no.
This is a $30 mat, & I have to jump through hoops for the company. Terrible!
User's recommendation: Just know that customer service is not good.
